Infrastructure and Equipment
Infrastructure and Equipment
The physical facilities are the guarantor of the course's sense of identity and the essential implementation of the PhD in Architecture study plan. In this sense, due to its general organisation and spatial articulation, the space must be a place where didactic and pedagogical experiences intersect, expressed in the vertical and horizontal coordination of the scientific areas of the Study Plan. This exclusive space will be accessible in both institutions on an extended time basis, allowing students to work in the facilities outside of class hours. It is worth emphasising the existence of `atelier¿ spaces, where students can develop their work and be accompanied by teachers. Although most of the equipment available to architecture students is concentrated in these spaces, there are other spaces/equipment in the places where the cycle operates that are essential for developing their activities, such as libraries, computer labs, reprographics, bookshops and technology work centres.
