My intention is to continue with the mediation, to train and to bring the migrant community a opportunity to integrate into the Portuguese community

Hello, since the 12th grade I have been promoting initiatives, particularly in the area of migration. In my 12th grade, I took part in the UREP project — I was actually the founder - which is the Union of Afghan Refugees in Portugal.
When the Taliban came to power in 2021 and many sought refuge in Portugal, we managed, in a certain way, to offer them support and help them integrate into the community in Braga.
Later on, I joined Lusófona University - Porto University Centre, where I implemented other projects, such as last year’s Erasmus BIP, in which we discussed interculturality, mediation, and also multiculturalism.
The project that has had the greatest impact on me so far was taking part in the CUEMYC Congress, together with the University of Braga, where we spoke about mediation alongside partners from South America, Spain, and Portugal.
As with all these projects I have already been involved in, my goal for the future is undoubtedly to continue working in mediation, undergo further training, and bring this opportunity to the community - especially the migrant community - so they can integrate into our Portuguese society in a more stable and inclusive way, as these remain challenges they still face today.
