Professor Hélia Bracons participated as a speaker in the Conference Series “Current Challenges of Lusophone Immigration”, held on 22 May at the iconic Pavilhão de Portugal. The event was organised by UCCLA – the Union of Portuguese-Speaking Capital Cities, in partnership with the University of Lisbon.
Speaking as part of the panel on “Challenges of Inclusion”, her contribution stood out for its critical and insightful approach to the debate on migratory dynamics within the Lusophone context, integrating both Portuguese and European perspectives. At a time when immigration plays a central role in public policy and social discourse, the conference served as a vital platform for reflection and dialogue among academics, policymakers, and civil society representatives.
