Open Day: Cinema as an academic pathway at Lusófona University
Secondary school students explored the Degree in Cinema and Media Arts in a workshop with visits, projects and contact with higher education

Lusófona University provided a new opportunity for secondary school students to get to know higher education through the Open Day, with the workshop held by the Bachelor's Degree in Cinema and Media Arts.
The event "In Close-Up – Cinema at Lusófona University", held on 15 May, offered students a detailed insight into the various facets of this field, introducing them to the full curriculum and the wide range of practical applications.
During the initiative, the students explored the core course units of the degree, learned about projects currently being developed by enrolled students, and had access to facilities dedicated to film training, such as studios and editing rooms. The event also included a presentation of FILMEU, the European University of Cinema and Media Arts.
