In collaboration with Marina Carvalho, professor at ISMAT, Tânia Gaspar has released “Burnout: Uma Pandemia” (Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos), a science communication book that clearly and accessibly explores the phenomenon of burnout, identifying its causes, consequences, and strategies for prevention. Aimed at professionals, organizations, and the general public, the book promotes mental health literacy and workplace well-being.
At the same time, the authors present “A Arte de Construir o Futuro” (Pactor), a practical guide focused on promoting emotional skills in children and young people. With strategies applicable in both educational and clinical settings, the publication provides tools to support positive development and the building of healthy relationships.
These editorial contributions reflect Universidade Lusófona’s commitment to producing socially impactful science and to training professionals equipped to address today’s most pressing societal challenges, particularly in the domain of psychological health.
