Biodanza Session
Biodanza is a human development system that promotes personal and social health and well-being. Biodanza is practiced regularly with weekly classes in heterogeneous groups. People from different backgrounds, with different training and ages, meet once a week to "refresh" their week with joy and enthusiasm. Due to the heterogeneity of the groups, Biodanza impacts various social areas through the effects it has on its practitioners. There are other ways to practice Biodanza, such as in specific groups. For instance, in business environments, Biodanza can foster well-being among people. Biodanza operates on the principle that establishing good relationships creates individual well-being, not the other way around. Relationships with good communication, assertiveness, boundaries, and clarity are highly likely to be healthy. It's not about liking everyone and being polite but about feeling well, even with those you like less. Biodanza in companies is an excellent way to reduce tensions, harmonise relationships, increase self-confidence and motivation, and enhance personal and professional self-esteem. How is all this achieved in Biodanza classes? That is the great mystery we will only discover by experiencing it. So, here is your invitation.

Kung Fu Trial Class
The term Kung Fu is generally associated with Chinese martial arts, although its direct translation relates to improvement through practice, a key characteristic of Chinese martial arts. The trial class will be in the Shaolin style, a traditional style in which we develop punching techniques as well as animal techniques, such as snake, praying mantis, eagle, and tiger, as well as weapons like sword, sabre, or staff. Kung Fu practice naturally has a martial aspect but is traditionally developed through sequences that include significant body expression work, resembling choreography. This practice will certainly help work on focus and concentration, as well as being very effective for developing motor coordination, flexibility, and strength.

Typographic Printing Workshop with Stamps + Artist Book Showcase and Handling
Come celebrate International Environment Day with us as part of Sustainability Days 2024, coordinated by Eco-Schools FE and the BioRG research group in collaboration with Universidade Lusófona Verde PRIMAVERA RUIDOSA. In this session, artist books about birds, created using various printing techniques by students of the Master’s in Visual Arts Teaching at Universidade Lusófona for the 2022/23 academic year, will be discussed, shown, and handled. Considering the current climate crisis and using Rachel Carson’s pioneering book *Silent Spring*—which confronts us with the potential disappearance of birds from our habitat—as a motif, students were invited to choose a bird they observed daily in their area. From extensive research—scientific, artistic, musical, and literary—on the chosen bird, each student created their artist book. Special attention was given to the bird’s song: after recording the sound, it was translated both verbally and graphically through an onomatopoeia. The onomatopoeias, printed with movable type, are a common thread in all these artist books, which offer various visual narratives about the birds they honour. After this showcase and handling session, where various visual narratives and techniques used will be discussed, participants will be invited to choose a bird on the Universidade Lusófona campus and create an onomatopoeia from its song. This onomatopoeia will be typographically printed with stamps. Activity integrated into ReLeCo ART.DS - Socio-Artistic Studies for Decoloniality and Sustainability (Ceied).
