Presentation
Presentation
Criminology, as a scientific discipline, is an autonomous and interdisciplinary field based on a matrix that brings together, in particular, contributions from Criminal Law, Sociology and Psychology. Modern societies, confronted with the criminal phenomenon, call for knowledge in order to provide reading grids that allow them to prepare responses supported by science, observing the multidimensionality of crime. This degree prepares students to deconstruct and understand crime and its actors, equipping them with the skills to intervene in penal and reintegration programmes.
