Candidates who meet the requirements defined in the International Student Statute can also apply.

Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired
Acquire advanced scientific and technical preparation in the fields of European Integration and International Relations, which enables one to exercise numerous functions both in public bodies (national, regional and municipal) and private companies (national and multi-national) and international organizations (public, multinational and non-governmental). The graduate will also be equipped with managerial skills and skills for interventions in the areas of European Integration and International Relations, in particular: - Technicians in European and International Organizations; - Technical support in decisions by the public administration relating to European and international affairs; - Collaboration with international economic groups; - Governmental consultancy, business and local government and non-governmental organizations¿ consultancy; - Examinations for Diplomatic and International Employee careers; - Social communication; - Training and Teaching, and initiation to research in areas relating thereto.

The 1st cycle of European Studies and International Relations, aims to create conditions for students to pursue studies for the 2nd cycle (Masters) as well as for the 3rd cycle (PhD).

Observations
The development of an active policy of professional integration of its students, is one of the objectives of this study cycle. Thus, besides the different protocols of collaboration to promote the integration of our students in training and tarineeship in different public and private entities working in the sector in Portugal, this cycle study develops ad hoc agreements with other institutions to ensure the effective integration of all its students or graduates.
