Masters Painting

The Master's Degree in Painting at the Department of Cinema and Media Arts aims to follow on from undergraduate degrees in related areas and deepen artistic knowledge and practice. This training proposal allows for authorial development and critical understanding of theories and practices underlying art and painting, from an interdisciplinary perspective. The artistic project to be developed is fundamental to the objectives of this course: competitive specialization and integration into the arts system, professionalization, the exercise of academic research. The teaching team is active in the art scene, namely as artists, curators, critics and mediators, and guarantees excellent training.

Eligibility for the study cycle: a) Holders of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent legal qualification conferred by a national institution of higher education in the area of Arts and related areas; b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, or legal equivalent, conferred following a first cycle of studies organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a state adhering to this Process, in the area of Arts and related areas; c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, recognized by the Scientific Council of ECATI as meeting the objectives of a Bachelor's degree i in the area of Arts and related areas; d) Individuals with an academic, scientific, or professional curriculum recognized by the Scientific Council of ECATI as attesting to the capability to undertake this study cycle.

Holders of a degree or legal equivalent in the arts and other related areas. Students who are in the process of completing a degree in the above areas at a higher education establishment.
